"How to Get This Look!"

1. break free from wearing all black and embrace your inner ivy league bad boy side.
2. be as ridiculous as possible about how you pair your clothes and roll your pants
3. try no shirt underneath a neon cardigan (its all about the "preppy rebel" in you)
4. wear mismatching argyle socks (leave the dirty laundry excuse at home)
5. wear brand new white sneakers (try not to get them dirty, carry a tooth brush with you at all times just in case)
6. wear an oversized searsucker shirt with the top collar buttoned like you belong to the Bloods a la preppy white boy

The Portland Dream

I love to do comparison shopping, afterall its my job. A few friends have been looking to buy in Brooklyn and I've taken it upon myself to scope out the real esate scene. And what i found is not cute. Or atleast not cute for my budget.

My Dwell subscription smacks me in the face each and every time I look at it. On the same note, Karen from Omnivore referred to Dwell as "evil" meaning that she too feels my pain. But Karen just moved from NYC to Portland so her opinion doesnt count anymore. She is obviously a very smart person is working "remotely" from Portland now.

Folks, I might have to pack my umbrella, sell my shoes and move to Portland, Oregon.
